The safety of our guests is something we value most. This also includes the handling of your personal data. We stay up to date with current legislation in order to constantly improve ourselves and our handling of this matter.
What personal data do we collect about you and what is the purpose of the collection?
The purpose of collecting information about you is to provide our services to you. Personal data includes name, email, address details and telephone number. After you visit us, you may also receive an email asking for your consent to send us news, offers and other inspiration via newsletter to your email. It is entirely up to you whether you want to accept or reject this, if you accept, you can unsubscribe from future mailings at any time via a link in the email.
In order to publish images taken after the GDPR legislation came into force on May 25, 2018, we inform you that photography or filming will take place and sign consent agreements with people who are photographed in close-up. If you want to withdraw consent or want us to remove a picture of you that we already have in our image bank, you are welcome to contact info@mycamping.se
How long is the information stored?
We hope that you will return to us after your visit. To make your next booking as smooth as possible, your information will be stored. This will be until you contact us to have the information deleted. If you have agreed to our newsletters, you can unsubscribe from them via a link at the bottom of the newsletter.
Where is the information stored?
Your information is stored on our own server. We use advanced IT systems that ensure the storage of your data is secure.
What rights do you have regarding your personal data with us?
Right of access: You can request a copy of all personal data we have stored about you.
Right to rectification: If the information about you is incorrect, you have the right to request that this be corrected.
Right to erasure: Unless the law (e.g. the Accounting Act) prevents us, we will delete the information about you if you request it.
Withdraw your consent: You can withdraw your consent to us storing your information if you want us to delete your personal data. You can withdraw information you provided at the time of booking by contacting us and you can withdraw your consent to receive newsletters by clicking the link at the bottom of the newsletter.
Complaints: If you do not think that we have handled your personal data correctly, you can let us know or submit your complaint to the data protection authority that monitors the application of GDPR legislation.

Below we list the cookies set by mycamping.se specifically for Google Analytics:

_gid – collects information from the visitor about the visitor and is used to distinguish different users. The cookie is saved for 24 hours.
_gat – used to limit the number of requests sent during a limited time. The cookie is saved for 10 minutes.
The information generated by Google Analytics cookies is stored on Google servers, your IP address is anonymized. These servers are often located outside the EU, many in the USA. The USA does not have the same data protection as the EU.
Google’s data storage features, remarketing cookie settings and Google’s Advertising Reporting Features are enabled. We use Facebook as an advertising tool and in order to evaluate our ads and control who should be targeted, we have implemented the Facebook pixel which sets a number of cookies to function, including:
