Visit Sweden's first snorkel trail in Kollevik.

Here you can learn more about the plants and animals that live in the water off the coast of Blekinge. The snorkel trail is an underwater path with information boards on the bottom.

Do you want to know more about life below the surface?

Snorkel in the archipelago

The snorkel trail goes through different marine landscapes with both eelgrass meadows on the sandy bottom and bladderwrack forests on the rocky bottom. Here you can find everything from blue mussels and seaweed shrimp to flatfish and jellyfish. With a little luck, it is possible to see both trout and pike.

The information is easy to understand and describes the most common species off the coast of Blekinge, but also large-scale Baltic Sea problems such as eutrophication, boat bottom paints and overfishing.

Information

Never snorkel alone and make sure there is someone on land who knows where you are at all times. Children should snorkel in the company of an adult who can swim.

There are sets with snorkel, cyclops and flippers for rent at the reception at Kolleviks Camping.
